Burning Rock Offroad Park

Thursday, December 12, 2024

Other Names

New River Gorge

Last Known StatusOpen

This large offroad park has over 100 miles of ATV trails that wind through 10,000 acres of forest. The property recently added a professionally designed motocross track that is 1 1/4 miles long with some big jumps, including a triple and numerous natural elevation changes. There is also a separate 1/4 mile long peewee track for the little guys.

All of the trails are marked and rated and range from easy dirt roads to steep and rocky climbs. Some other highlights include great views from the huge (half mile long) zip line ride.

Camping is permitted and there are plenty of primitive and RV hookup sites plus several cabins available for rent. Guided tours are also offered and a general store is also available which sells park permits daily from 7am to 5pm.
