Wednesday, December 11, 2024

Other Names

Lake Oahe, Missouri River, De Sart Bay, Indian Creek Bay

Last Known StatusOpen

This offroad park opened to the general public in June 2007 and offers over a one mile long harescramble trail. The trail is small but narrow and twisty and winds through some tall prairie grass and a few trees. The staging area has a vault toilet but no shade.

A small recreation area is located directly east of the OHV area which has picnic tables, shelters, drinking water, horseshoe pits, volleyball court and a playground.

The staging and recreation areas are only open for day use but camping with electric hookups and restroom/shower facilities can be found just a few minutes away.
