Other Names | Jackson County Sports Park, White City Sports Ponds, White City Ponds, Hoover Ponds, Agate Desert Area, Camp White |
Last Known Status | Open |
Open to all vehicle types, this county park offers several play pits, a few miles of wide and hard packed ATV trails, a couple small gravel hills and a designated 4x4 rock crawling area with strategically placed logs, boulders, concrete blocks and culverts.
The trails are usually hard packed and dusty but can get very muddy during wet weather (after a good rain expect deep mud pits and play areas to be filled with water). At roughly 50 acres, the park is on the small side but there is no fee charged for parking or riding, plus the trails are open daily, year-round.
There are no services except for a vault toilet so bring shade and water.

One area of the park includes a number of play pits with some scattered 4x4 rock crawling obstacles.
The area mainly consist of flat and wide open spaces and can get muddy after it rains. Photo Submitted 2/15/2016 (Thanks!)
There is a vault toilet building near the center of the park and various trash cans.
When not muddy, the park is mostly dry and dusty hard pack. This is a good place for newbies learning to ride.
This is one of the trails that can be used to form a loop around the park. There is no challenging terrain except for the 4x4 crawl area.
One of the shallow pit areas. This is a good place for locals looking for a quick day ride.
This is the designated 4x4 rock crawling area located near the southern section of the park. The course has strategically placed concrete blocks, logs and boulders to crawl over.
Rock crawlers and motorcycle trials riders have a place to test their balance and navigation skills at the 4x4 obstacle course.
This is one of the several fishing ponds that is stocked with green sunfish, largemouth bass, yellow perch and bluegill. Permission and a small fee is required to fish here which can be obtained by contacting the county prior to arrival.
Nothing too exciting here but it's a free place to ride. Just bring shade and water.
Finding a place to park is no problem. Lots of space but no shade, so come prepared.
The area is a bit more fun after a light rain. Photo Submitted 3/30/2013 (Thanks!)
This is a good example of the type of terrain you will encounter here.
Another view of the terrain and trails. Nothing hard but a good place to practice riding skills or breaking in a top end.
This area is mostly flat with very little elevation changes. The best time to visit is after a light rain.
The area is mostly a hard packed terrain with some lightly graveled sections.
There is plenty of room to park for all types of rigs. Just remember to bring shade and water.
