Other Names | Broad River, Sandy Run, Lake Houser ATV Park |
Last Known Status | Open |
This offroad park offers miles of woods trails, hill climbs and several mud bogs. The park borders the Broad River and also has several creeks running though the property. The property offers a wide variety of terrain that ranges from hard pack to rugged/chunky rock sections with washed out ravines, making this place geared for the more experienced rider.
Camping is permitted near the entrance gate but there are only about three sites for tents. Fishing is allowed alongside the river with a valid fishing license and paying the day use parking fee (if you paid to ride the trails then the parking fee is waived). Shoreline and boat fishing is also permitted in the lake for a small fee but a license is not required.
The park is open daily, year-round, and all visitors must sign a waiver and pay at the gate before entering the park (cash only). All vehicle types are welcomed and helmets are required.
