Other Names | Lincoln National Forest, Sacramento Ranger District, Silver Campground, Silver Overflow Campground, Cloudcroft, Little Apache Canyon, Sacramento Mountains |
Last Known Status | Open |
This part of the Lincoln National Forest offers a small trail system that is open to motorcycles, hiking, mountain bikes and horseback riding. The trail forms a loop that begins at Silverwood Campground and ends at the Silver Overflow Campground.
This area has four campgrounds; Silverwood, Saddle and Apache can accommodate trailers up to 30 feet long while larger vehicles can camp at the Silver Overflow Campground which has no length limit. During the summer months live music is usually performed on Saturday nights at the onsite amphitheater.
Overall while this area does not have a lot of trails to explore it would still be a good choice for dual sport motorcycles since there are other trails nearby that can be easily reached.
