This remote 4x4 trail is about five miles long and begins at Gold Lake Camp and heads west, winding past several small lakes. The trail is rugged and is covered with loose chunk rock. All vehicles are permitted but the trail is best explore in a Jeep, ATV or UTV.
Camping is only permitted at Gold Lake Camp, which has 16 sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and food storage lockers. The campground is open year-round but there is no water or garbage removal services. Both campground and trail are open year-round, and during winter months snowmobiles are permitted.
