Peppersauce UTV Fun Run - Adventure Awaits!

You have watched Western movies and read about the adventures of some rough and tumble cowboys in your time, we all have. When you come to San Manuel Arizona you walk right into that movie or book and those imaginations come to life!

Located in southeast Arizona, you are surrounded by rugged territory, wildlife, cows, cowboys, horses and many desert flora and fauna. San Manuel is on the edge of the Sonoran Desert and includes a majestic view of the Galiuro Mountains which overlooks the San Pedro River Valley. What more could you ask for than to indulge yourself with 360 degrees of amazing views from the comfort of your UTV?

This UTV event was held October 23-25, 2020 and sponsored by Demer's Glass and Peppersauce Motorsports. The great folks at Peppersauce Motorsports are a family oriented group of employees who are welcoming, fun and very experienced in these rugged outdoors they call home.

Kicking off the event, in true hardcore UTV style, with an amazing night ride under a full moon. The cactus shadows and UTV lights in the desert night are like nothing else. This ride runs for about 30 miles and is a ride not to miss. They say the desert comes to life at night, they are not wrong!

The day rides were split into two groups so each group could experience the same ride. The Devil's Gorge ride is approximately 70 miles of beauty. Starting the ride atop a scenic ridge. From there, travel down into the valley filled with lush green and plenty of cows. Climbing back up the rugged slender path along a backbone to the other side. This was truly a puckering experience and was one to never forget. Our guide Doug, was amazing and full of knowledge of the area. The Quemado ride was also about 70 miles long. This ride takes you through canyons, washes (some with water), tunnels and railroad crossings. Our guide Dave spotted a bear on the ride just before entering the canyon. Truly a one of a kind experience!

When the rides are over everyone meets up at Peppersauce Motorsports for Saturday night fun! Make new friends, join the corn hole tournament, raffles with loads of loot to be had, and plenty of reminiscing of the rides of the day. Dinner was provided by the San Manuel High School nightly and if you were feeling adventurous there were other local dining places open as well.
