Riding Area 'Status'
Explanation of 'Status' Terms
A color coded status value is displayed for all riding areas listed on this website.
This status is calculated daily and is an attempt to best describe the last known operating
status of the park or trail. The meaning of the status values are as follows:
- Open – currently operating, open
for season, or generally accessible but not necessarily open for riding
today
- Temporarily Closed – currently
closed due to special circumstances but expected to re-open
Closed For Season – currently undergoing a
scheduled annual closure but expected to re-open
- Closed For Special Event –
temporarily closed to general public for a special event such as a race, poker
run, etc.
- Not Yet Open – new riding area is
planned or under construction and is expected to open in the future
- Closed - no longer operating or
accessible, out of business and not expected to re-open, but the area or
facility may still exist and could re-open under new management
- Destroyed - area is permanently
closed and cannot ever re-open due to construction or other land
development
