Jones Creek Trail System

Thursday, December 12, 2024

Other Names

East Fork, Yacolt Burn State Forest, Boulder Creek Road, Jackson Creek

Last Known StatusClosed For Season

Developed by the Washington Department of Natural Resources in the early 70's, this system of one-way forest trails offers some nicely maintained single track and 11 miles of 4x4 trails. All of the trails are marked and rated and form long, twisty loops.

The main staging area offers spacious, level gravel parking, restrooms and some pleasant picnic sites. Overnight parking is not permitted but Dougan Creek Campground is about 20 miles east which has some really nice sites (tent only) and popular swimming holes.

This trail system is actively maintained by the Jones Creek Trail Riders Association, so be sure to say thanks for a job well done. Discover Pass is required which must be purchased prior to entry.
