This area has about 15 miles of mostly easy and wide double track trails. The terrain is mostly hard packed with the occasional loose chunk rock. The trail system has two designated staging areas with plenty of room for parking and camping but no services.

Visitors should be aware that unless machines are street legal, there is no direct offroad access to the other motorized trails of the Black Hills National Forest, so plan accordingly. A permit is required for each rider which can be purchased online or by visting the Black Hills National Forest Ranger Station.
