Other Names | Clatsop County, Clatsop State Forest, Shingle Mill Road, Hunt Creek, McNary Creek |

This state forest offers over 17 miles of trails that are open to quads, UTVs and dirt bikes. The area offers a wide variety of terrain that ranges from hard packed and smooth trails to rugged and rocky with slippery tree roots and occasional loose chunk rock.
The trails form several long loops that are marked, and a couple gravel pits to play in. There is a designated staging area located at the northern part of the trail system but there are a couple primitive campgrounds tucked away.
The trails are open year-round but may close temporarily during fire season, which is usually around late summer (exact dates vary so call first before heading out). There is no fee charged to ride or camp there are no amenities except for a vault toilet.
