DESCRIPTION
About 3,000 acres of rolling sand dunes are available here for motorized use.  Primitive camping is allowed but there are no facilities.  Direct access to the lake makes this a choice spot to bring along the water toys too.  Note that the dunes are covered with volcanic ash and tend to be little dusty.

1) Take I-90 west to exit 174, about 100 miles
2) Turn left (south) off the exit ramp, continue .2 miles
3) Turn left (east) at the T-intersection, continue .4 miles
4) Turn right (south) at intersection onto Sand Dune Rd., continue about 4 miles to the dunes.
